Luynes is home to some important Gallo-Roman architecture, with the most well-known example being the aqueduct. Listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques in 1869, it is the most famous Roman monument in the department, and one of the best preserved ancient aqueducts in north-western France.
There are 44 piers (and eight arches), the remains of a building that originally had 99.
