Carnaval

In the pretty region of Touraine, there's a little town called Manthelan, set in the middle of a green, gently undulating landscape.
While the great popular festivals of our time may have lost a little of their lustre in some places, there is one carnival that has long been celebrated with splendor in the good town of Manthelan. Since 1869, Manthelan's inhabitants have been celebrating these great carnival events with the same enthusiasm and dynamism, faithful to their ancient festive traditions.
On the program: funfair, musical entertainment from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., food and music at the Espace des Faluns (reservation required) and float parade from 3 p.m. onwards.
