A SHOW FOR (RE)DISCOVERING GRAPE VARIETIES...

AlterVinea is supported by two associations: 100% Vinifera and SlowFood Tours - Val de Loire. These associations are working with two small local companies to organize the show: Vins Mille Lieux and Jeanne-Yerre.

AlterVinea aims to promote France?s traditional grape varieties, from all regions, with a particular focus on those that have been neglected and need to be (re)discovered. Winegrowers are committed to bringing these ancient grape varieties back into cultivation, both to enhance their heritage and to help find answers to the violent climate change currently underway.
