Nourished by poetry and pop culture, Nils Alix-Tabeling?s works draw on myths and rituals of the past to question contemporary mutations. He invents alternative futures, open to hybrid identities and chimerical bodies.
His exhibition at CCC OD was inspired by folk singer Judee Sill. Exploring themes of interiority and mysticism, his sculptures and videos appear as allegories of emotions.
