Also worth seeing are their churches painted with frescoes from the 11th century. The castles of Chenonceaux, Chambord, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais and Chaumont-sur-Loire (international garden festival) are 50 minutes away. You are also an hour and a half from the Futuroscope in Poitier or an hour from the Beauval zoo. In Vendôme, the TGV brings you to Paris in 35 minutes.
