Savonnières is a tourist town in the Unesco World Heritage area, in the heart of the Cher valley and on the Loire à Vélo itinerary. It has been awarded the ‘Station Verte’ label and one flower in the ‘Towns and Villages in Bloom’ competition.
The route offers beautiful views over the Loire and Cher rivers from the ‘Cent-Marches’.
