A day out with a breath of fresh air at the Village of Father Christmas
From 25 November 2023 to 7 January 2024, the real Father Christmas and his elves will be taking up their winter quarters at the Montbazon Fortress. Enchanting illuminations, prankster elves… all the magical world of Christmas awaits you!
A touch of sweetness for Christmas
Every weekend from 25 November to 17 December, and then every day during the school holidays (from Friday 22 December to Sunday 7 January 2024, excepting 25 December), the Village of Father Christmas will be opening its doors to young and old alike for a warm and friendly experience to share. To enjoy the illuminations all around the Montbazon Fortress, the opening hours will be extended from 4 pm to 10 pm.
As in previous years, the ice rink will delight skating fans of all ages! Creative workshops will also be the chance to make your own Christmas decorations and take a little bit of Christmas magic back home with you! To round off the activities there will also be storytime, magic tricks and rides, juggling and make-up, along with stalls, craftspeople and artists.
The Village of Father Christmas: decorations, tasty food stalls, shops…
After taking some great photos of the illuminations, visitors can enjoy some Christmas specialities at the village food stalls. Mulled wine, hot chocolate, fouées, waffles and pancakes are sure to be a big hit! And the shop has been beautifully decorated in a special theme with a chance for you to finish off your Christmas shopping.
In short, here is a great opportunity to vary the fun during Christmas in the Land of the Châteaux.
